New Policies and Procedures

Due to the nature of the business and the cost of repairs and/or parts we unfortunately have to change our operating procedures, please read below for our changes.

1. When you make an appointment either by e-mail or phone, we will need to send you a questionnaire either by e-mail or fax that will need to be filled out with you contact information ( full name, address, phone numbers ), Vehicle information. We will also ask for you to fill in a vehicle complaint, and the work you would like us to perform. Along with this information we will send our policies and warranties so you are informed up front, we will need to have your acceptance of our policies and warranties before we can schedule an appointment.


2. For daily appointments ( dyno sessions, general check, tune-up, shocks, brakes, etc.) we will accept Visa, Master Card, Am ex, Discover, Cash, Certified Check, or Money Order.


3. The following policy applies to Engine overhauls, Single Turbo Conversions, 20B installations, project cars, mechanical restorations and any repairs more than one day and $800.00.
   
   1. Upon check of the vehicle, we will prepare a quote of work that is recommended and e-mail or fax to you which you can peruse and either accept or decline the work to be performed.
   
   
   2. Upon acceptance of the quote we will require all monies up front to start and complete your project. An example below : You bring your car in for poor running, we perform a compression test and find the motor is blown, if you decide to continue with the inspection of the motor we will need the labor paid up front to remove the engine, tear down and inspect. From there we will prepare a detailed quote of the work needed to get the vehicle back to operating condition, at this time if approved we will need the full quoted price paid, minus your initial payment within 14 days. Work will start upon us receiving payment.
   
   


4. Due to the limited space., if you decline a repair or your vehicle is complete you have seven days to pick up your vehicle and parts, if you fail to do so there will be a $10.00 per day outside storage charged until the pick up.


5. Parts left at KDR and not taken when the car is picked up will become the property of KDR. If you want to sell your parts you need to take them with you and supply a list of the parts and the price you want for each piece and we can put you in contact with interested party. We are not equipped to store your parts.


6. Due to the size of the shop we cannot and will not guarantee your vehicle will be stored inside.


7. Owner MUST have insurance on their vehicle , KDR cannot be held responsible for any Fire, Theft, loss or damage of any kind while in our lot. We have a security system and video surveillance at the shop, we try our best to protect your property but cannot guarantee it will be safe.


8. If owner wants to supply the parts for a job, they must be purchased and received by us in a timely manner. Any delay caused by customer puts your job at the back of the list, we must start work on other vehicles that are ready to move ahead. When we receive all parts for the job we will start work on your vehicle.


9. Payment forms accepted are : Visa, Master Card, Am ex, Discover, Money Order, Certified Check, Cashiers Check. We cannot accept personal or out of state checks.
